A Seat For Every Student
Form and function when it comes to seating is what we do best. We listen to what you are trying to achieve from the space and make recommendations on the style, design and finish of the seating that will offer best value and maximum functionality. This could be seating from our standard range or bespoke options we create specifically for the requirement. Our seating has been used in many areas across education, including multipurpose chairs for classrooms and break-out areas, stools and modular soft seating for collaborative spaces or LRC’s, booth seating and café chairs for dining areas, and sofas and armchairs for reception or communal spaces.
Getting the Finish Right
We offer advice on fabrics and finishes so you have confidence the seating is fit for purpose. It could be that you require wipe clean anti-microbial vinyl for a dining hall, a durable but comfortable fabric for a communal or student lounge area, or something to make a statement in a reception space. We offer a broad range of different fabrics in many colours and patterns appropriate for education environments.
Re-upholstery and Refurbishment
Education environments are all subject to heavy use and even if things don’t actually get broken, seating does inevitably get worn and tired over a period of time just as a result of normal wear and tear. We are able to re-upholster a wide variety of seating from chairs to sofas and banquettes – sometimes this can even be done on site, depending on the type of seating and its condition. We don’t promise that this is necessarily the cheapest option (although it is often extremely cost-effective) but it certainly is a very good alternative to sending furniture to landfill in large quantities.
Manufacturing & Project Management
As manufacturers we offer full flexibility when it comes to product design and delivery lead-times. We are in complete control of our production processes, enabling us to quickly supply a top-up of a few chairs, or scale up to supply seating for a full refurbishment project or new build school. Our in-house design team can produce floor plans and 3D renders to help clients visualise how seating will look in situ. We have good relationships with the main contractors involved in education projects and can flex our production schedules to accommodate changes in project delivery dates, phased rollouts and where necessary store furniture until rooms are ready for install.
