Spotlight on Sectors – Student Accommodation

For most young people, student accommodation is their first experience of living away from home. rhbr has extensive experience in this sector, working alongside clients, contractors and project design teams to ensure we deliver seating that withstands the demanding requirements of Purpose Built Student Accommodation (PBSA).

We manufacture seating suitable for student bedrooms, shared kitchens, communal lounges, social areas, and for specialist leisure areas such as gaming, music and cinema rooms. On many occasions, this has involved the creation of bespoke items, either for built-in furniture or for standalone pieces – our design team are always on hand to work with you to ensure that concepts are successfully translated into reality.

We work with partners who deliver the fitted elements of the bedrooms and kitchens so we are able to provide a turnkey solution where this is required and we have delivered projects ranging from a seating refresh of selected rooms all the way through to delivering the full loose furniture schedule for an 800 bed student accommodation block.

We also provide upholstery services for headboards.

Our manufacturing capabilities and production facilities in Oxfordshire mean we are happy to work on all projects from the large scale to the few items for re-upholstery.
