Thame Sustainability Champions

The Thame Sustainability Champion Awards is a great initiative, started by the town council to encourage local businesses to adopt more sustainable practices. The programme focussed initially on five specific aspects:
Clean air, Reducing plastics use, Energy usage, Saving water and Calculating carbon footprint, and included a tree planting session too.

All of these proved useful reinforcement for the actions we already take but Billy Stone, our sustainability guru, found the collaboration and discussions with other businesses in the area, and the exchange of information, the most valuable part of the exercise.
