Upholstery Services & Re-upholstery
We were surprised that people hadn’t realised we provide upholstery services, but since we started shouting about it a bit more the requests for both bespoke upholstery and for re-upholstery have increased significantly.
Upholstery
Our upholstery capabilities enable us to deliver a huge range of bespoke upholstery services which have included:
- Headboards for hotels and student accommodation
- Day beds
- Auditorium seating
- Window and alcove seats
- Banquette seating
- Bolsters and cushions
- Retail display units from the very large to the very small
- A few examples of our current regular upholstery work include:
- All the seat and back pads for one of Platinum Stairlift’s new ranges.
- Headboards for some of the largest hotel operators.
- Day bed cushions and stepped seating for student accommodation projects.
And in the past, we delivered over 70,000 sets of upholstery to Stannah Stairlifts, achieved full marks in every supplier audit, and ensured they were never out of stock.
Re-upholstery
We are also being asked with increasing regularity to re-upholster or refurbish seating. The sustainability agenda is largely responsible for driving the interest in this area and there is a realisation and acceptance that the sustainable option is sometimes not going to be the cheapest.
